What is in Loisium
One platform, in sections, in plain words and graphs. The first list works today. The second is decided and not built yet, and every line of it says so.
Working today
- Put it onlineUpload your code as a folder or a zip. Loisium reads it, works out how to run it and gives it an address with https. Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, Java, C# and more.
- Public and private appsOpen your software to everyone, or only to the people you name. People sign in with an account they already have, and you choose who may only look, who may change things and who manages people. Nothing is added to your code.
- A database of its ownIf your software needs a database it gets one: Postgres, MySQL, Redis or SQLite. There is nothing to set up.
- BackupsA copy of your data is taken every day and checked by restoring it. You can put a copy back.
- Your data in a tableLook at your data, change a value and undo it, bring in a spreadsheet or CSV file, download it as a spreadsheet.
- A new version, seen firstIt runs on a copy of your real data before anyone else sees it. Lois goes through its pages and forms and shows you what would change. It goes live when you say so.
- Going backEvery version is kept, and you can put back the one before.
- Logs you can readWhat your software wrote, with what went wrong shown first. You can search it.
- VisitorsHow many people came, which pages they opened, where they came from and which pages are slow, in graphs. There is nothing to install.
- Keys and settingsLoisium reads from your code which keys it needs and asks you for them. They are stored encrypted.
- Packages, checked dailyWhat your software is built from is checked every day against lists of known holes and known malware, and Lois tells you what she found.
- Your code, in the browserRead your code and change a line without leaving Loisium. A change is checked before it goes live.
- Who did whatA history of what was changed in your app and by whom: you, your team, or Lois.
And many more, smaller things beside these.
